All about Mat
Mathew Lee Gill was born in Long Beach, CA, but raised in San Diego and Lahaina (on the beautiful island of Maui). He joined the Navy immediately after graduating from Lahainaluna High School and spent the next fifteen years traveling the world in the service of his country. While in the Navy, Mathew earned his Bachelor's degree in finance at the University of Maryland, University College. He lives in Severna Park, MD with his lovely wife and three daughters.
Mathew has long been a voracious reader, cutting his teeth on the likes of Robert E. Howard, Robert Heinlein and Ray Bradbury. His current favorites include PJ Tracy, Carl Hiaasen, Harlan Coben, Lee Child, Robert Jordan, and R.A. Salvatore.
Mathew is an active member of the Maryland Writers' Association and the CityLit Project. He is currently typing away on his all important sophomore novel.
