It's been some time since last we spoke. July of last year, about seven monthes ago.
A long gap in a world where the information flow is constant and updates are immediate.
I'm back now.
Thank you to anyone who has braved coming back to checkthis out.
Let's just consider this first article a catch up and in the future we can go from here. The new job is good, very busy, but definitely good. I enjoy the challenge of constant change and a steep learning curve. 'Broken Charm', my second novel, is winding down. I am working edits and gap filler, getting ready to send it out to the editor to get eviscerated. Like any other writer, novelist or no, I am a glutton for punishment. I am looking forward to starting the marketing cycle for 'Broken Charm'. Between you, me, and the one other person reading this, I'm actually looking forward to starting something new. The ideas are flowing and I am struggling to keep things in check so that I can complete the work at hand. But I digress.
The future is in the hands of my earstwhile sister-in-law Kim, who is reading the first draft even as you read this, unless you are reading this sometime after about mid-march. By then other things will be happening.
Hope you're a part of it.
I'd like to part by saying that cancer sucks. Rest in peace, Pops. We love and miss you. Mom, you are stronger than anyone should ever have to be. Tony, thank you for your calm. Don, you are the load bearing wall upon which I perpetually bang my head - you know I couldn't make it without you.
later.
peace.
